The dream, and the one rule in the way
No spin. Here's exactly where it stands — and why that's good news.
A villa over the water
Glass on every side, the marsh and the deepwater channel at your feet, a private dock reaching out into the tide. Maldives energy — in the Lowcountry.
You can't build on the marsh
In South Carolina the water bottom is public land, and the coastal rules only let a dock cross the marsh — never a house. A home standing over the tidewater isn't permittable. That's the wall.
So we don't fight the wall — we use it.
A glass villa on solid deepwater land, lifted into the trees, with your own pier out over the water.
